Default eurotrashed: 1999.5 VW Jetta GL

Owner Member Name: eurotrashed
Year: 1999.5
Make: VW
Model: Jetta GL
Color: Silver Arrow

Summary of the car:
This is my first car which is used as my daily beater except for this year while I am at school. Mainly exterior mods right now because it's just a 2.0 and I don't like the way stock Jettas look. I never really ment to mod this car, it just sort of snowballed, but I am almost done. This summer I am getting the side lip vents shaved and some scratches taken care of, 15mm spacers out back, 8mm up front, sport cloth seats, new style center console, airhorn.

Pictures:

Hopefully the finished product:

Exterior Specs:

Interior Specs:

Notable Acomplishments:
Pulse Weekly "Ride of the Week" in April 2005
3rd place MKIV Jetta/Passat Modified at SuperJam 2006

And the things that have really meant something to me:
several people saying that my Jetta is one of their favs
And one person saying my car is their inspiration for their own car. It doesnt get much better than that.

Everyone knows that Tyler, Pete was just making a joke because you have a GLI front lip. We have to explain everything to you.

yes i understand that. I have noticed my car is a GLI clone... I get it... jesus. Some people don't know there was a GLI before the 1.8T body kitted version, so I was just letting him know

Did you know there was a MKII GLI?!?!?!

And why did you list your car as being a GLI up at the top?

Well in the exhaust pic I am trying to show how there is no sign of me cutting the cutout up to accomodate the twin tips.
