Default The fanjetta

Owner Member Name: Kelly/Fanjetta
Year: 1991
Make: VW
Model: Jetta 16v GTi
Color: Tornado red

Summary of the car: Heres a wee history of my Jetta, Ive had it just over 2 1/2 years now, only bought it as a wee runaround after a mishap in my beloved capri but the modifying bug bit hard and still got it lol.

Pictures: ...

poor quality pics but this is it stock then lowered with fox R2s

Here again after my brother christened it the fanjetta and after a whole lot of t-cut!

A few more mods and my rial cups

Engine Specs: 16v KR engine, only mod being a piper cross induction kit

Suspension & Wheels: 8 inch wide steel wheels and currently lowered on -40 springs but have coilovers to be fitted asap. (If I can stay sober one weekend so that i can drop the car off to my brother lol)

Exterior Specs: Golf front end, debadged grille, all crystal lights upfront, eyebrow spoiler, g60 arches, mk 3 style chinese spec handles, crystal side repeators, smoked rear lights, stubby ariel.

Interior Specs: standard gti grey interior with momo pedals (to be replaced with tt pedals) and an 8 ball gear knob.

Notable Acomplishments: I havent crashed/killed it yet.

Comments: Still got a few things to do, got spax rsx coilovers waiting to get fitted so will bring the front down a little (not too much though as I live in speed bump central!) and hope to get a respray next year to tidy it up x

Thanks for the comments folks. My taste has changed a lot in the time ive owned the Jetta, its the first car Ive modified. My last car was a very stock (apart from some foglights and badly smoked tail lights) ford capri.

Mine was the far away one in the top pic x
