Summary of the car: Well i bought the car last september. It had a 1.6TD in it, but i decided to have a little more guts but i wanted to keep the fuel economy. So i put in a 1.9TD. Since then a spent a lot of time givin the car some love, a lot of nicks and nacks here and there but as time goes, it gets better and better. Should be keepin it for a long time. Started thinking about puttin a TDI in there to get some more torque and fuel economy. We will see what winter brings me :P

Engine Specs: 1.9TD (AAZ) came from a 1994 golf, 245 000km and dosent take any oil. Took the KKK K24 off the 1.6TD and slammed it on there with a little more juice (22-23psi). Had to rebuilt the pump, so had a 11mm pump head put in it with a custom boost pin and regulator to get more fuel for all that boost. Add a frount mount intercooler and voila ! :P

Suspension & Wheels: I started with a FK Cup kit but my tires where rubbin, so bought some Patec Holeshot coilovers, no more rubbin . 15x8 Sportmax 002 mag wrapped in Nexen N2000 195-50-15.

Exterior Specs: Badgeless Aero grill up front. Flair wing on the back, and mk3 GTi antenna up top.


Interior Specs: Installed some Jetta GTX leather seats, Autometer boost gauge and black roof.

Notable Acomplishments: Getting in front of gas cars and still being able to do 800km with a gas tank. :P

Comments: Big Red Power, because horsepower just isnt enought.
