Default My 99.5 gl

Well lets start right now it is almost bone stock but its clean and runs strong.
Specs.
about a 2" fk hightek suspension package
iridium plugs
full synthetic ohio
ecs stage 1 clutch (first mod on the car)
full clear headlamps (sanded, wetsanded, clear coat, wetsand, buff)
silverstar bulbs
132,000 on the clock
I have been just trying to keep up with keeping it a good dd till spring hits.
I am not one of those kids who will run before i can walk I want to have a strong car and so I maintain it before I buy any mods.
Right now my main focus is on my eclipse build for the hell of it I will get some pics up of that.
But the eclipse only needing to painted and the engine and turbo set up to be finished up I decided to make a build thread of what ever I end up doing to the jetta once i can drive my eclipse this spring and work on my jetta all summer and fall.

I will also post some specs on the dsm:
1g 94 eclipse gs-t
oem turbo pistons
oem turbo rods
polished crank
small 16g
wally 255 fuel pump
bc272 cams
safcII
manual boost controller
turboxs turbo header
2g mas
stock 16" alloys wrapped in toyos
iridium plugs
Soon to be:
fmic
polished and ported head with titanium valve springs
I am working on fabricating my own turbo back 3" exhaust
dsm link
power slot rotors with new calipers
greddy timing belt
topline gaskets and rebuild kit
thats about it and i will post some pics up of that next time i get cranking on the car

but my future plans for the jetta:
for the hell of it i have a ton of boost guages, controllers, and a nice little t28 turbo and I have some fab skills so i might just make a little turbo kit for the jetta all though I do preach about how stupid it is to turbo a 2.sloww but I am not spending 4 grand for it haha and I know the cars limitations
but eventually i want to build a vr6 for it and run a gt35r with a wally 255, some bigger injectors, chip it, ecs stage 2 brake kit with calipers custom dual tip exhaust and intercooler piping the list continues

I am not planning on doing the build in a week but I got far with eclipse in the 6 months i had it did all that stuff to it so i figure if I work allot of hours that I can get it done in about 2 years at most.

now for the pics of the jetta:

more to come and yes i took my front lip off i think it looks cleaner and plus it scraped everytime i backed in my driveway
