Since I drive back to MD for work (not everyday), I was thinking about a chip to optimize my fuel. I'm averaging about 310 per tank but depending on how much I drive, I fill up twice a week

For those of you who have chipped, do you notice an increase in mileage?

Thinking about it but the only problem is I can't be without my car if I have to send my ECU out.

Just go with a local tuner like(APTuning)and they'll chip it for you in about 45 min Also I recall Chad(CBRD in york)is gonna start Bosch tuning.

I know Chad through a friend that I race with. He did my suspension for me. Where is APTuning btw?

Thanks. What are the chip options? I went to APTuning's site but it's unclear as to what it will do. I know performance is one, anti-theft and a few others.

APTuning is in Lebanon, about 45 min. from York. They are an APR retailer, I usually go there for alot of my perfomance stuff.. a great bunch of guys

You wont be sorry if you go with APTuning

You won't be sorry if you go to APTuning, but you will be unhappy with APRs software on the 24v. I would stick to either GIAC or EIP. You can go out to Willow Grove at AWE Tuning (1.5 hours away) or go down to Westminster at EIP (45 min awa). I went with EIP because they are closer and I wasn't too happy with AWE and my previous car.

I have dealt with EIP several times. That's where I had my short shifter installed and purchased my spacers.

I take it you have a 24V also? What do you get out of yours?
