Default SirRangeALot's 2002 VW Passat W8 -- ROTM October 2009

Owner Member Name: Jeremy a.k.a. SirRangeALot
Year: 2002
Make: Volkswagen
Model: Passat W8
Color: Deep Black

Summary of the car: I've owned this car for about 4 years and it has been I've been in love ever since. Getting a VW has opened a whole new world in my life. I've become more and more passionate about the VW scene as time goes on. I've always been about subtle mods...it's frustrating seeing how most people with other Passats or Jettas with 1.8T's or other platforms have unlimited exterior, interior, and engine mod choices. W8 owners have few limited choices with what we can do. But I've learned to work around these limitations.

Pictures:

Engine Specs: Custom exhaust -- (2) 4" SilverLine mufflers straight back to quad SilverLine tips. CAI and SpeedTuning chip coming soon!

Suspension & Wheels: H&R springs with Koni yellow adjustable shocks; 17" A6 4.2 Fat Fives

Exterior Specs: S2000 Antenna; painted lowers; 35% tint all around; smoked tail lights; smoked bumper markers; chrome mirror caps; chrome door handles; eyelids; debadged trunklid; 42dd blue LED city lights; Höen xenon-match fog lights

Interior Specs: Euroswitch; DRL relay pulled; Denison IceLink iPod adapter; b/w europlate from TM Tuning -- '3UR07R45H'

Notable Accomplishments: Won "Best Vanity Plate" award -- Eurowerks 2009; "Way Out There" award -- Rally For Dyamond 2008.

Comments:
[Today 11:42 PM] BORA20vTurbo: do you know what a good exhaust on a W8 sounds like?
[Today 11:43 PM] BORA20vTurbo: like a VR6's bigger, beefier, manlier, sexier, baby-eating brother
