Default Trev0rBrs Rabbit that he stole from an elderly woman

Owner Member Name: Trev0rbr
Year: 1983
Make: Volkswagen
Model: Rabbit
Color:Royal Red

Summary of the car: This is the car i bought to drive for while my jetta is getting painted, but i really like it. From what I was told, the car belonged to an old lady from 1983-2005, then it was sold to some couple that couldn't get it to run right or something, so then they sold it to this guy that was gonna use it for parts on his caddy truck, and then he sold it cause he's selling his caddy as well... and now it's mine. Some where along the line someone did some shady maintenance... but i've got most of that straightened out now, and it seems to be running quite well, i still gotta clean the car, go over the paint, and clean out all the dead mice and remains from previous owners... but yeah it's a lovely little car and i love sitting in it, just I can't turn on the fan or it smells like dead mice and stuff

Pictures:

build sheet on the passenge seat

Engine Specs: 1.6l diesel with 156,000 on it, and attached to an automatic transmission with the economy feature(disengages the engine when it's not in use)

Suspension & Wheels i'm gonna stick some boge turbos on the front since the fronts are shot, but other wise nothing new...

Exterior Specs: stock

Interior Specs: stock

Notable Acomplishments: no rust at all

That's a whole lot of red. I know of someone that would def. reverse transfigure the guages into all-red audi style...

Super clean find.

i'm still in highschool, it's my senior year, i'd rather not say what i paid, but it wasn't much for what i got, but it was cause the guy i got it from didn't really know anything about diesels and he thought it needed an injector pump, and advertised it that way, and it ran like poo and it was hard to start, luckily i know alot about diesels, hehe it was sucking air from on top of the filter cause someone installed the banjo fitting wrong, and it had 3 burnt glow plugs, runs great now and starts instantly, just needs fuel injectors now and it will run like a champion haha.

i found the other day what the history on the car was, it was some old ladies since new, i guess she wasn't so old when she bought it but when it was sold in 05 she was 80, so she sold it to some kid that couldn't get it to run right, then he sold it to some guy that was gonna use it for parts for his caddy, then he decided to sell his caddy and this car so i bought it, no one really drove the car much other than the old lady, especially since when it was sold it ran like crap, so then i bought it and 2 days worth of work (and i took my time it was just little problems with the motor) and so i fix it and it runs like new. so now i have a really nice car. then i got it on the road this past week, it runs good minimal blowby, but for some reason the first day i drove it to work, it ran away and the motor blew, i wish i could have recorded when it ran away, i83 was filled with smoke from it as the motor revved to all hell until i figured out how to stop it, now the motor definetly has a blow head gasket and it's seized up... great. everything else on the car is in great shape though.
