had a great time with everyone today, i was also rather disappointed in the turnout overall...... the whole VW Mayham section was whet 20 dubs total? its a shame more ppl couldn't make it out. congrats to all who placed. i think VWForum crew took home 4 or 5 awards! i know i will be striving to finish my car ( and clean it really well too) for waterfest, if not befor. it was great to hang with everyone and i will have pics to post maybe tomorrow.
**** and a special congrats to B5TURBO for for placing in the STREET/STOCK CLASS!!!! WHAT THE F! HA HA HA ******

At least I had my own class this time. Maybe I'll get bumped up to mild when I get my stage III and Carbon Fiber hood

It indeed was a poor turnout for the dubs this year. I do thank those who did come out to support VWF and whom showed. NCCA should have the final results posted early this week on their website http://www.nationalcustomcarassociation.com

Congrats to B5 Turbo (Jason), VWlowride00 (Jason) & SilverGTI (Brian) & the European Autowerks crew for all their winnings...only more to follow. Hope too see everyone at Ski RoundTop on June 19-20 let's get those HONDA's!!!

I had a pretty fun time. I think that the fact they all the weather people in the world were calling for showers, and I think it only sprinkled for about 1.5 mins, had something to do with the turnout. I was expecting to see some more serious looking cars there. Don't get me wrong, there were I nice handfull of fast cars, but I believe the highest hp car that dynoed was a superchaged 6 cyl mustang that only hit 270 to the wheels, respectable. Just would have like to see something crazy fast.
