There was alot of nice cars, but i thougth the show was a JOKE. The NCCA wouldnt know a VW if one ran them over. The guy that judged my car walked arond it once looked in the trunk and in the driver side wrote somthing down and walked away. He didnt check the calipers brakes rims or wheel wells.. nada. There was like 8 cars in 4door street and i didnt even place. i didnt expect to win or anything just place would have been nice. It was the biggest waste of 45$. Dont get me wrong there was alot of nice rides there but i thought the judgeing was a joke.

And dave, Eric's Jetta the u gave the "daily driver" award to isnt a daily drive by far. its a sweet ride, i wish i had half of what he has in it. but its def not a daily driver. it think its a maroon golf or gti that he drives every day.

I have alot of pic's ill pe posting soon just got to go through them and pic some out.

would a 2 dollar plastic trophy have made it worth your money?? you gotta go to NCCA shows to have a good time not win...unless u want to buy mods that are tailored to their judging

No offense to Jason Deim or Jeff Shimp, because their cars are very nice. But I can't understand how they could end up in the MILD class. The classing was so screwed up and the judging wasn't much better.

Simple. Neither of them have a body kit. I was in the wild category. I skipped a category from last year being in street to this year being in mild

Personally I think the Street, mild and wild classes should be for your everyday drivers. I think people like Jason Deim, Jeff Shimp, and Mik Ho Kim should all be in the Elite or Pro Elite classes. Just because they are hardcore showcars and always win multiple awards.
Take for instance, I'm in the wild category, I win so many first place trophies. I should be bumped up to Elite.......If I start winning in Elite.(bump) now I'm in Pro-elite.

Wow, here it is, straight from the Import War website:
* If you win Top Honors in the Mild class three times, you will advance to
the wild class. If you win Top Honors in the wild class three times your
vehicle will receive the highest honors and compete in the Elite Class.

**The Pro-Elite class is for vehicles that are heavily used by a
corporation to promote their product line. Vehicles of this caliber are
usually sponsored with capital funding by one or more companies

And they wonder why I don't show. :P
Main reason I like racing. Their is no contest you either win or lose and you can't blame no one but yourself. But show cars It's crazy almost sounds like the girls in the beauty contest
