1999 Volswagen Passat misfire.
I have recently replaced all spak plugs and 2 ignition coils in my Passat. About a month later the car did it again, this time the check engine light came on giving code p0302. I found out it was the ignition control module so i replaced it with a cheap after market one. worked fine for a while but now i still feel a slight misfire in the engine now and again (on acceleration). Could the other 2 coils have gone or do all the coils need replacing with the module? im getting no obd codes so im at a loss. How can i check the ignition coils to see if they are good? Could it be the after market ignition module? Please any help would be great. Thanks, Pete |
