acceleration delay
I have a 2005 passat gls 1.8t automatic. This car has a delay from the time you hit the gas pedal till she accelerates. I would say the delay is about 1/4 to 1/2 second delay. I don't hear the engine rev up just a delay(kinda like computer lag). Anyone else have this problem and any one have any ideas.

Sounds like a normal condition for drive-by-wire.
