Default Cabin Filter

Can someone tell me where the "cabin air filter" is located in a 06 Passat?

I've looked for it, but have no clue.

Thanks Burk, but I have nothing like that.

On the new style Passat, the pollen filter sits vertically in the housing. If you lay on your back looking up at the bottom pf the glovebox, you will see a paper/cardboard insulator. If you gently move the insulator out of the way, above it is a plastic piece. (roughly 2 inches by 10 inches) This piece slides to one side and allows the pollen filter to be lowered out through the slot.

Good luck,

- Craig
