Cylinder with Very Low Pressure.
I bought a 1992 Passat yesterday and I got it inspected.
One of the cylinders has very low pressure compared to the rest. the low one only has 30PSI where as the others have 170/190/210 This engine is a 16v model. Does anyone have any suggestions of what it could be. The VW dealership gave me a quote of labour and parts which would be a total of $1400 and I only paid a $1000 for the car. Are there any mechanics out there who might be able to help me ? Any suggestions at all? Thanks!
