deceleration noise after ball joints replacement

Hi,

some Firestone guys repalced ball joints on my VW passat(2000). when i picked up the car it was making a noise on deceleration (clunking from the front). i took it back but they don't know what is it. they suggest that the engine mounts are weared down, but they are not sure that this is making the noise. they kept the car for 3 days, and they say that they don't know what is it... any advice is welcome.

note: i actually took the car there for a small oil leak, then they suggested changing the ball joints and now.. before the ball joint change nothing there were no noises or other evident problems.

i'd say its probably yor bushings butu i couldnt tell you wich ones. it sounds like they might have screwed them up when they did the ball joints
