the fan is not working or its working and not blowing out vents?. Not working- check relay and connections. could also be switch itself on dash.

I working but not blowing air out then sounds like damper is not working.

Also the fan will work intermittently when I am driving it will sometimes come on.

Also if i tap the fan motor I can hear it startup but it does not sound right, Like its scratching agains plastic or something.

Dont think its relay switch as its working sometimes.

Any other ideas

Cheers

Loose wire or bad contact @ motor. I would start by replacing the blower motor.
