Default '03 Lupo 1700 SDi

Hi there:

Anybody have any details on changing the cam belt on a 1700cc diesel Lupo.

I've never done one before and would appreciate any assistance.

Cheers...Biffy

I would check this Link for reference...it pertains mostly to the 1.9 engine, but it could provide a good idea of what to do. Also check there forums.

Default VW Lupo timing belt

Many thanks for the link. Plenty of useful info, but it looks like I need the VAG 'break-out' box to re-set the timing.

Cheers... Biffy
