Default Ventilation Lights

Hey all,

I've just bought a second hand Lupo 1.4S and it appears not to have any interior ventilation lights, i.e. the fan settings, ventilation, hot/cold air temp areas don't light up when the lights are on. Is this normal, to me it doesn't seem so!? Has this happened to anyone else? Is this a dealer thing to sort out or is it something I can do myself? Anyone got any tips on how to do this?

Cheer,

Tim

Sounds to me like you have a blown out bulb....can you post up or send me a picture of the climate controls that are in your car? If its anything like the Mark 4/B5/New Beetle manual climate controls with the fan control knob in the middle, the bulb is inside the fan control knob, you can remove the fan knob with a pliers (wrap the jaws with a rag) and using a small piece of vacuum line, remove the bulb.
