VW Pointer?

I saw one of these on the Highway yesterday at Lunch. It had Mexican plates on it. I assume it is the wagon variant of the Lupo chassis, it was smaller than my GTI, but about the length of a Jetta wagon.

Odd, but kinda cool. I have seen two Lupo's around here with Mex tags on them. (God bleass Ross Perot and Nafta.) [img]images/smiles/icon_mad.gif[/img]

Mostly South American/Mexico sales, they are pretty cool. I had the wagon version as a rental in Peru a few years back.

Well, we might actually see the Lupo here in the US to compete with other smaller cars, which are catching on here for some reason...

hmm, never seen any of those either, but as soon as they ever start selling lupo's over here i will be the first person to have one. but one thing i refuse to buy a vw from mexico. germany made only!
