It's about the same size as a Rabbit, and we'll never see it in the US. Word is the Lupo will be removed from the VW line in the next couple years to be replaced by a similar car labeled as a Fox.
Rest assured, one day I will import a Lupo GTI... eventually.
i love it...someone else wanting to buy a lupo gti. im thinkin on them lines 2 but still unsure! if your gonna buy one mate, then make sure its the 2001 onwards 6 speed. said to be a much betta drive. Very nippy little cars and they do well on fuel 2.
looking at the uk site, it says the lupo gti comes with xenons...i dont understand why its soooo hard for vwoa to give us american and canadian gti and jetta owners the option of xenons
i read an article about the lupo gti recently, it's supposed to be a real amazing car, the author said that after driving it he would pick it over any car in VW's line up (including the r32, not sure i agree with that one, but...) he said that it's surprisingly roomy inside and has a lot of get up and go... i thought i had heard that vw was considering bringing that to the states as their new baseline model (unless i'm confusing it for the polo)

IN TEXAS?!? I thought all you had down there were Pickups and Camaros...j/k! No really, I keed! I keed!
Anyway, I almost picked up right-hand-drive CRX SiR before I got my GTI; It looked awsome with the SiR trim kit, SOOOO much better than USDM CRX's...
Ya, for an Integra, it was pretty sweet. the only thing external was wheels and an exhaust (not a fart can! ) but when it drove off it sounded like butta.....BOV and all.
