Default Mk3 Fuel leak

I have a 1993 Mk3 Polo Genesis 1.1L. This one has a bayonet type fuel cap. Each time I take a left hand bend fast I gat a lot of fuel leaking around the cap area. This gets much worse with a full tank.

I have tried a new cap, rubber gasket etc. It does appear to be sealing but still fuel leaks out. Has anyone experienced this before or has an idea what to do to fix it?
