Polo Motor swaps???

I own a 2003 VW POLO with 1.0 motor engine in it. i had problems and i was forced to change it, i thought of getting the 1.4 16V motor. but i am wondering would i be needing to change the gearbox as well or r they both use the same gearbox?????
Someone plz help me in this one cause i dont know whether to search for another gearbox or stay with the same?????????

No the Gearbox is not the same!
You can switch the Gearbox on your 1,4 16V but the speed transformation is an other!
The Engine would faster rev up!
