Default problem with new VW POLO

I have a problem with my VW POLO (bought May/2002) when driving over a sleeping policeman.
The car make unpleasant squicky noise
comming from the area of front wheels.
Does anybody come across the same problem.

Just wondering what a sleeping policeman would be? Maybe a speed bump? this might help us define what the problem might be. thanks.
