85 scirocco car died couple days ago had it fixed.the guy replaced the ign. module and it ran well, before had no spark. maybe 10 miles later it did the same thing. I know he replced the mod, put the old one in the the new one again. what would cause the module to blow like that?

With a magnifier carefully inspect the new coil particularly at the tower for cracks. If you see any large or small cracks anywhere the coil is either defective or it is not new.
If you have a resister bridge on the coil make sure it is wired to the coil properly. |
