Differences in 84 and 85 Scirocco?

Looking for a repair manual for my 84 Scirocco (No Haynes, they SUCK.) I thought that most Scirocco 2's were for the most part the same vehicle until the 16v's came out.
Why I'm asking is this. The Bentley manual which covers the 80-84 models are expensive, and rarer, not finding any copies under 40.00. Whereas I can find copies of the 85-90 model years much cheaper....10-20.00 per copy. Is there any real difference between the 84 and 85 models which would force me to have the specific Bentley repair manual for it?

They are almost identical. No major differences that I can think of.
