Default Ignition switch replacement...HOW??

Hello all,
I've a '91 gt2 scirocco which has a dodgy ignition switch. I have found nothing in haynes on 'how to' and have stripped the wheel, surround etc but can't find any type of securing pin or screw as is usually the case, but it still won't budge....aahh!!!
I would apprecite anyones suggestions...help!

Just in case its of use to anyone else, everything went easily until it came to getting the spring and lock washer off, apparently post 1989 cars use the same set up as corrado i.e it needs a fine blade 2 legged puller to get it off, after that no probs at all.........Thanks again!

i just had mine replaced on my 91' rado by my vw specialist and it costed about $220, parts are very cheap but labor will fuck you over.
