Default Sometimes I hate her!!!!

Well, it happened today! Went out to my car and pulled the driver's handle and the bitch broke. So I was trying to get a piece of mechanics wire to pass the door seals, which happened after prying out on the top of the door frame, to hook the interior handle. But I couldn't get the handle. So my girlfriend comes to pick me up and before I get into her car I decide to try the hatch, just for shits and grins (hasn't opened from the outside for about 6 months) and found out that I guess the Rado still loves me. The hatched popped!!! So I got in and drove home. Couldn't get the hatch to pop again, so its sitting outside with the hatch resting on the lock. Hopefully no one decides to use the car as a leaning post while I am sleeping.

So I ordered the door handle pieces from ebay today, and hopefully they won't take too long to get here. Until then I guess the hatch stays popped a little.

Isn't it common knowledge that all VW's has problems with themselves when it comes to the door handles?

That's old vdubs for ya. I love it when I go to get in Tonya's Fox on a cold morning and you feel that pop and end up with a hand full of junk pot metal. It's almost worth buying old foxes for the extra door latches. VW wants $80.00 ea. for them and the Ebay china versions don't work.
...wait...you have a girlfriend?
