Default Touareg Sets High Altitude World Record

WOLFSBURG - Where others fail, the Volkswagen Touareg just keeps going up and up – to an altitude of exactly 6080 metres (19,947 feet). The Touareg Expedition from Volkswagen Individual is confirmed as holding the "Guinness Book of Records” entry for the highest altitude recorded for a vehicle.

Most likely an R5 TDI, although it could be a V6 gas or a V6 TDI. The exhaust system shown in the photos isn't a V8 or a V10 TDI.
