Hummer takes pole in robot race
Quote:
FONTANA, California (AP) -- A driverless red Hummer snagged the pole position Wednesday in a government-sponsored sequel race across the Mojave Desert that will pit 23 robots against one another.
Well it definitely looks like things are off to a better start in this event than last year. I don't think any of the vehicles got very far at ALL when they competed a year ago. It's all pretty amazing, though - that's for sure. Nice to see a Robo-dub doing well.
Stay on the lookout for "I Robot 2", where a VW Touareg is accused of murdering Will Smith, and Johnny 5 solves the case.
