Default yo quick question

I just want to find out if any of you guys know if an old 911 turbo engine will drop srate into the back of a 1972 bay window vw campervan with out to much hastle (its one of the air cooled vans) me an my step dad are trying to get a beast built for bugjam at satapod so any one could give us any tips that would be great (and not stuff like dont eat yollow snow lol)

i'm not an expert on this but i was told thats a popular conversion though you should buy a kit to make things easier, however i dont know where you would find the kit however i belive it was maxiwesty.com did a comparison of the motors a few years back and found the v6 nissan maxima motor to be better suited to the task yes the 911 motors faster but for perspective go on any parts stores website and compare say headgaskets for a 911 motor then for a v6 maxima motor. personally im going for the 2.3l subaru in my 84 vanagon

yo chears + we could be getting a second van to strip for part (a polo got parked where the spare wheel should of been of the one we might buy) (and i think thats rocking a subaru motor)
