accessing 3rd row

I'm loving my Routan, but having an issue with getting into the 3rd row. How in the world are we supposed to do that?

In order to fold the 2nd row seats up and out of the way you either have to remove the headrest first or open the stoarge compartment in the floor so the headrest will go in there with the seat folded. In both cases you have to first make sure the front seat is forward all teh way.

A lot of trouble it seems. Surely I'm missing something??

I asked my dealer the same question... he said "through the tailgate"!!! I guess the third row is only meant for the kids!

Then I REALLY wish they'd have given the 2nd row all that extra leg room. Rediculous. This is my one and only complaint, and quite frankly, it's a big one. I have a car seat in each of the 2nd row seats and have to uninstall them any time I want an adult to ride with us. The whole reason we bought a minivan was to be able to easily have people ride with us. UGH!!!

I am glad though, that its your only complaint - as Ive been getting nervous since we ordered the van that few have been sold. We take delivery in 3 weeks and not many people have been able to give an owners perspective!!!

I have carseats in the captain's chairs (waste of heated seats). i'm thinking of removing the armrests in the second row to gain some more space between the seats....
