Default Power Doors

The power sliding doors operate correctly from the remote, the ceiling console switches, and the "B" pillar switches. The right door opens or closes automatically if the exterior handle is actuated. The left door power assembly does not operate by actuating the exterior handle. Is it supposed to?

I happened to rent a caravan for a week before I bought my Routan. After two days in Disneyland, the right passenger door stopped reacting to the switches and remotes. When you tried to open/close automatically it would make a clicking sound and then go dead. Of course it still closed manually.

When I took it back to Avis, the attendant said he sees it alot with these new minivans (town and country and grand caravan.)

Take it back to the dealer to get it serviced.

Thanks all. I'll take it to the dealer. I'm waiting for a real problem or the scheduled maintenance. Don't want to do without my Routan for any longer than I have to.
