Routan Compass??

Hello All
Our 2009 Routan has a flashing "CAL" above the direction on the compass....does anyone know what this means. Searched the owners manual with no luck, reset the zone, did a manual calibration..all with no success. Appreciate any feedback.

I have a compass in mine but its the on under the speedometer. They do mention the one controled on the steering wheel... I do not know.... follow the instructions to calibrate the compass.....
