Default Got me a V Dub

I just picked up my first VW. It's a 2003 jetta 1.8t. I plan on building the sh*t out of it and hope you guys can help. I've built super fast jdm cars, and even built American muscle before, but now want to advance my self to German enginering. Thanks in advanced.

Nice to hear you've got some experience! Now you'll never go back to jdm or domestic after going Euro

I would'nt say I'm never going back... I'm working on a top secret 9 second old school jdm import. I know it is impossible, atleast at my budget, to get the jetta in the 10 second range. My goal with the jetta is to run 12's and keep it reliable and a daily driver. But I probably won't buy another Honda for a daily drive, other than for a winter beater.

Good luck, I tend to be the 1.8T guru around here and even know a bit about FI if you need wideband A/F numbers and EGT numbers when you're ready to turbo it. Just don't do anything to it you'd do to a JDM car, German's are a whole new ball game

Ok, thanks TTTurbo1.8T, I will come to you for your advice. Thanks for the spark plug advice too. I'm going to buy the NGK 4644's tomorrow along with an Autopage 727 alarm.
