Hello!! to VW fans
I don't no much about Jettas so hopefully you guys can help me out!
I want to do some mods to my 2000 Jetta GLS and the car runs great so far. YAY ~!!
What kind of mods would you recommand to me ? should I change the air intake system ? , exhaust system ? and others. I really don't no where to start. Also, i want this ride to look clean and simple. btw my budget is 1000 dollars.

Honestly dude 1000 bucks is nothing for a lot of vdubbers but its a good start.
tint the tails badgeless grill look for some 18s on craigslist gli headlights and some silver star bulbs make a big difference and with the money left over you might be able to get an exhaust and cai.

def get some 17s or 18s rims an low pros, look for a good buy tho
tint ur windows if they arent already
silver star bulbs make a world of difference, they did on my car
an w/e money u have left i would go exhaust an then cai
but if u want performance i would just reverse the order of wat i just said

I have another questions about maintance ( I don;t have the owners manual )
what kind of oil does it take ?
I heard that factory recommands 5w 40 which i believe it's fully-sythetic ,but others tell me that go with 10w 40 ( semi- sythetic) .
Also, where can i buy good oil filters? Canadian tire? part source ?
and Lastly, is it every 8000km or 3 months you do your oil change ?

i change mine every 5k miles and turbo shocker way to say exactly what i stated
