Default im a newb ha

I have a navy 2001 Jetta 1.8T
35% tint, painted the OEM rims semi-gloss black, painted calipers red, badge less carbon fiber grille, stubby antenna, Forge boost controller, Autometer vac/boost gauge
thats it for now
in 2 weeks im getting 2.25" exhaust custom made from the turbo to the cat an then buying a catback system to put on there
hopefully at christmas or a few weeks after im putting 17s on it with low profiles and then putting coilovers on it after that in the spring
need advice on boost control

welcome. not sure what advice you need on boost control. im not a big fan of boost controller on a car that the ecu controls the boost to begin with. you will most likely throw a check engine light. when you start turning up the boost you risk sending the ecu into limp mode. it limits the boost to around 5psi. getting your ecu chipped is the best option.
what 17in wheels are you looking at? stretch, poke, flush, tuck?

yeah im pretty sure im sending it into limp mode
which sucks cuz i have spent the money on the boost controller
it spikes about 13-14lbs then just drops to rite around 5lbs
im gonna play with it a lil more an see if i can even get just a few more lbs out of it so im not running the stock 7lbs
im trying to go after the multi-spoke BBS type of look that comes on the 05 GLI possibly something like HPR or ICW or motegi
im hoping 4 it 2 include low pro tyres
all for around a 1k preferable a lil less
