Hello All,
I have enjoyed reading parts of your forum so far, and found some pretty good DIYs... My car is a '00 mkIV Golf 2.0 liter, aging but still only 106,000 miles on it... the car has had some leaking issues (I live in Seattle,WA) that quickly became engine issues, though I'm not sure if the two are linked. Anyway, I look forward to reading more about my current issues, which are basically misfires across every cylinder, as I read on my code reader. Thanks, Adam

2004 golf tdi- first door button doesn't blink when car is locked. Then when driving warning icon comes on sporadically indicating that a door is open. No door is open. Now when I attempt to unlock the car with the fob the alarm comes on. Thanks for any help you can give. Ron
HI I own a 2007 3.6 4motion Passat Wagon that I purchased under the certified pre-owned program. When I purchased the car, the odometer reported that it had only be driven about 12,000 miles

Hi there guys n gals. I'm new on here. I have just purchased an R reg (98?) Passat estate 1.8 20v Turbo. Lovely car to drive. Hopefully going to be doing a bit of work to it, so I may be prodding your grey matter on a couple of bits sometime
I look forward to talking with you.
I am looking at buying a 2003 Jetta GLX VR6 with 106k miles on it. It has some obvious damage to the driver's side front quarter panel ($500 max would repair it) and a slight ding on the roof in front of the sunroof. When I offered to pay cash I was quoted $5000 out the door price. I haven't had a chance to test drive it yet as the deal just got it in as a trade, but I could see nothing else physically wrong with the car. Does this seem like a good deal?
Hello, name is Ray - retired engineer - Jetta TDI 2009 "Certified Used Car"
Car had major failures in late October. I had the car towed to VW dealer on Nov 6 and got it back on Jan 3rd. Seems to be fixed but it took forever. Joined here to find about others with problems.
I've now gone through the entire registration process, clicked on the verification link that came in an email and got the response that everything was done. But when I try to initiate a new thread under General Discussions, I get a pop-up saying I'm not allowed to post. Wsssup with that?
