Vw sharan 1.9td dashboard display

Hello there i am a new member and have a problem with a dashboard light which appears then disappears its amber and appears on the bottom right of the car diagram i have checked all lights and brake lights but still comes on can anybody help.

What year of car do you have?

Are you sitting still or driving when it comes on?

If driving are you starting, peeling out, or turning?

Sounds like the ESP light. If you have electronic traction control or a button on your dash labeled ESP click it. It will show an amber warning light. Is that it or does the light look like an engine with a lighting bolt?


Oh yeah, welcome to vwforums.

I guess I need more details of what you drive and when this occurs.
