Default 1984 VW Rabbit Cabrio

1984 VW Rabbit Cabrio
I’m listing this for my father, He bought the car in 2002 and has done a few things to it, Here is a run down of what has been done maintenance wise and aftermarket in the last few years.

- Tan leather interior
- HOR progressive springs@ 170k
- Boge Struts/ Shocks@170k
- Chassis Braces (comes with neuspeed brace too but has 4 point on car now)
- Euro manifold (dual outlet)
- TT downpipe
- Eurosport Exhaust (gutted cat)
- Rebuilt head @200k
- Water pump & timing belt @ 200k
- Cap rotor wires plugs @208k
- Euro bumpers (front was cracked but glued back)
- Rebuild shifter (needs adj. –tuff to find first for some people)
- Teardrop alloys
- Cleaned all grounds behind dash
- Rear wheel bearings
- Air horns

It does need the top gone over it is 7 years old and has a few cracks in it, at the first bend on the front, 2 on the passenger side and 1 on the drivers I believe. No holes, but small cracks ¾ of and inch long to an inch long. And the straps that hold the rear window up to the frame need fixed. It does leak where the top and door and windshield all meet. Currently out of inspection, it ran out in September along with the reg. But it will pass no problem. But he no longer drives the car so he doesn’t want to register it. Clutch is strong and runs great. It may need an o-ring as it leaks some oil on the front of the engine. Also, at some point in time it had minor sheetmetal damage to the tailgate and quarters under the taillights, it is all fixed but is in primer and hatch a different color. But has been like that for the past 7 years. And it’s not rusty. Also has Sony CD player and infinity front speakers, But I cant remember what speakers we put in the back. It has minor things that I cant remember that need fixed, like the volt gauge in the console, ect. Paint is pretty tired. It is 25 years old after all.

Comes with a bunch of parts as well:

- Extra hood
- Full Clipper Kit
- Extra tailgate/hatch
- Extra 4 light grill
- Misc extra body parts ( I have to look in the garage to see what all I have)

2000$ OBO
Car is located in Red Lion, PA 17356
