Cabin air on a 1.8t?

I tried to do a little searching myself in google but only came up with the vr6 cabin air filter
It said it was in the top left portion of the engine bay, i haven't been able to go check myself because i am currently still at my job.
Was wondering if anyone else new exactly where it could be at, my ac is a bit stinky atm

It's under the rain tray on the passenger side. You can see 3 screws to remove that allow you to pull it out.

Like what TTT said. Mine took a little wrestling to get it out and then get the new one back into place.

That should fit, if they are both MK4s, but I'd recommend just getting a new one. They are like $15 and last a while. I was having a problem with mine fan. The fan would blow a moldy smell at me, but the AC or the heat wouldn't. Opened that up, and sure enough, it was covered in mold. Changed it 9 months ago and still no problems.
