need help with my decision on a golf gti

I am attempting a trade for a 2000 golf mk4 gti vr6. I have a 2005 chevy classic.

golf: cracked windshield (current owner is paying for)
needs coil pack
97000 miles

chevy:
rough idle
150000 miles
boring all around

I would, but that is me. Does it fit your needs better or not. I would worry that coilpack is something greater so I would have it checked out before trading to confirm. plus they can cost s good chunk for those single coilpack units.

It has the intermittent misfire. I priced a coilpack at $80. that's not terrible. I hate driving automatic.
is this a good choice? Im relying on this thread for my choice lmao

Check insurance price differences, have it looked over at a mechanic if you are not able to go over it entirely, and was the timing chain done yet?
