Got back from SOWO. I volunteered to park the cars starting at 6:30am on Saturday. that was rough, but I felt like I helped a little at least. Plus it was a great way to see EVERY car that came into the main show field:

This idiot blew up his car trying to do burn outs:

Sadly I had to drag a seizing caliper all the way home though. Rotor/Pads/Caliper all are being replaced. Just waiting on some parts to arrive due to the 280mm rear rotors I run.

here is what my wheel looked like when I got home:

Also plan to work this weekend to get a few other parts installed that are laying around on the shelves. SOWO was a great time, hope they bring it back next year. The nightlife was pretty nuts though.

Love those wheels.

Was it as bad as the people on facebook make it seem? I've read so many different sides to the story. Everyone talking about how bad it was are people who didn't even go.

It was more apparent due to the main state road. The police presence was not effective, nor respected, so I feel it may not get approved with appeals. I feel the cops are SOOO lenient (complete opposite of what hear H2O/Ocean city cops are like) so the crowds kept growing and at one point I thought it was more mob scene than car enthusiasts.

Wheel that the caliper failed on is still getting too hot. going to replace the carrier and hope it is the pins in the carrier sticking before moving onto the wheel bearing. No noise at all, so hard to put a new wheel bearing in when it makes no noise nor does it shake when wheel is moved at 12/6 o'clock when raised in the air...but other than that I have no clue what is happening...thoughts?

Carrier pins were replaced again, re-greased, and seem to be working correctly now.
Split an axle boot on drivers side, so new OEM axle is being purchased. A/C still not functioning, I can not figure this one out and it is driving me crazy.

Heading to EuroHangar this weekend though!

Why not just replace the boot instead of the whole axle?

I contemplated that for about a week, I felt I was hearing some noises I did not really like as well during hard turns so I was going to swap axles and when I pull the old one, reboot it as a spare.

ANNNND, no longer going to Eurohangar....anyone need a ticket let me know, I am preregistered but can't make the show now .

Meh, not too worried about not going. Wanted to spend more time cleaning up and putting parts on instead of spending the money on a hotel/gas/food to go up. I was not wanting to drive up and risk an Axle exploding on me in route. If anyone needs a prereg ticket let me know, you can have mine.

Just got back from Vacation:
https://www.flickr.com/gp/duffnstuff/QyH4YW
Dubs in the Valley is coming up August 1st, I plan to attend. Anyone else nearby going up there?

I am puttering around installing Air Ride, just trying to make it a one and done install and not have to go back in and rebuild and rerun things. False floor design is completed to house amps and air. Sub Box is getting designed now for the right hand side of the trunk wall as well (FINALLY!):

meanwhile a buddy is having a little issue with his AMP purchasing addition, he REALLY like the Phoenix Gold amps, (ONE may be in my future soon as well )

Progress is being made, slowly. Starting to dry fit things together and place items where I want to have them so that I can hole saw the spots I needed wires and hoses to route through and start to paint the trunk skeleton black.

Compressor will go in the CD changer compartment:

Sub enclosure was built:

Factory Amp pulled, I hope to not need this at all any longer...

Dry fit of sub enclosure before finishing is completed:

Hope to have everything in by the time I head up to MadFurther, but slow moving as always...
