Straight pipe

Hey guys, i have a mk4 jetta 1.8t and i was wondering if there is any chip tunes i could use if necessary if i want to do a full straight pipe. I want to a catless down pipe with no resonator or muffler.

You will throw a P0420 code for no cat. It needs an emissions delete flash to keep the light and code off or you can try an o2 spacer from 42 draft designs.

What aboout for a 2.0? would it be the same. I plan to do a straight pipe as well?

It's gunna sound like absolute shit justblike it does in a 1.8t. Please dont. Just get a magnaflow muffler welded in.

just the muffler ? i currently have no muffler and its loud. I was thinking of getting high flow cats and now with the magnaflow ? Thoughts?

There really aren't any performance gains to be had with a 2.0. Just get a nice magnaflow muffler welded in and call it a day. High flow cat would be a waste of money
