2005 MK5 Jetta - A/C Aux fan not coming on

Hey Folks,

I have been troubleshooting an issue with my daughters 2005 Mk5 Jetta.
The big cooling fan is running at variable speeds, and keeping the car cool enough to drive...but the smaller A/C cooling fan never comes on.

I have replaced the temperture sensors that goes into the radiator...along with the Big Fan...which i understood contains the control module for the smaller fan....yet still the smaller fan doesnt come on with the AC is on (or any other time).

I also checked the fan directly to battery power..and the smaller fan motor itself works... it just seems it not getting power from the smaller fan.

I cant seem to locate any fuses or other relays involved... stumped
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

My though is that if the box fan is getting power and working....that all fuses should be good as there only appear to be one power feed...going first to the big fan...and then the little fan is fed by the big fan.

If Im not mistaken there is a way to use a jumper to the electrical connections to get the fan to run non stop. If that happens then your fan is good and its a power issue, if it doesnt run from the jumper your fan is bad.
