"Why can't I post in other forum sections...??"

New members must post at least once in the New Member Introductions section before gaining ability to post elsewhere on the forums. (sometimes it may take up to one hour after your post before your permissions are updated to post in other areas of the forum - this is controlled by the forum software and not something admins or mods can change for you.)

Also, if you can't post anywhere at all, it's probably because you never activated your account when you registered. An activation email is sent out to a new registrant to verify their account. Some email providers flag these emails as spam, and they end up in your junkmail folder. AOL is notorious for not delivering these emails AT ALL. So make sure that for whatever forum you register on,
#1: Don't use an AOL email address;
#2: Add that website address to your safe-sender's list so emails don't get flagged as junk/spam.
