So 2 months ago, my city golf's check engine light came on, I brought it to a mechanic and it came up as a cylinder 2 missfire. I replaced the spark plugs, coil pack and wires , the light went away for a day. Just of recently I checked it my self with a code reader and it came up with an cylinder 2 missfire, I assumed it was just like an old code, so I cleared jt, it's now back on , I didn't think my car was running funny, but now I just need some advice, its my first car and I'm worried , thanks

Did you or mechanic change the plugs and coils? Improperly torqued plugs can break. Switch coil packs around to see if the misfire moves. Move cyl two to coil to cyl four. If the misfire moves, bad coil pack. If it doesn’t, start checking wiring. These electrical systems are notorious for coil pack wiring problems. You could also check if cyl 2’s plug is fouling (you will see the tip covered in oil) in which case you have bigger problems.
