I am in Atlanta and want to get rid of my aluminum/alloy wheels and use steel wheels on my 1995 VR6 Golf. I have flat sections on three of my wheels, and want something that will last longer with our pot holes and city's sloppy repair work.

Steel wheels are apparently not availalbe through dealerships for VR6 cars because there were never an option. I have found a Canadian web site that sells steel wheels.

Are their other manufacturers that share VR6 same wheel specs? I have 15" wheels with a 5/100 bolt pattern. I am not sure what the offset is. I know that Porsche wheels were interchangable with some of the beetles...that A2 Audi wheels worked with some of the VWs...etc.

Look forward to hearing from you.

porsche rims won't work unless you get 5x130 adapters. I know the pattern for all mk4s in 5x100 so they should work, although i'm not sure of the offset
