I had my brakes checked the other day and I was told that my front brakes have about 50% left on the pads but my rears are bald. I have less than 1mm of pad left. I have never owned a car that the rear went before the front. My car has 90,000 km on it and these are the original brakes. I am replacing rotors and pads on the rear but I am told that on VWs sometimes the caliper has to be replaced as well. Ever heard of this? Is something else wrong with my car? Should I also get the front done?
THANKS!
