Hey everyone! I bought a GLI autobahn just a few days ago. It's a stick and though I've been driving one for years I can't seem to get the timing right on this car. When I shift from 1st to 2nd, the car bogs down. I've already figured out the perfect point for the other gear shifts but this one is getting pretty annoying! Lol. Any help or information would be very appreciated!

I have tried all over the place. I usually go for 2800-3200 depending on the situation but it's tough to get a clean shift without some sort of bog down.

Thats not right... i would take it in for service. I've been able to shift as low as 1500 RPM with hardly any hesitation that it may be too low of an RPM. But usually i shift at 2500-3000RPM and it shifts just fine out of second.

Oh, and if you havent gotten a short throw shifter, you should. HUGE difference. I got the FORGE unit.
