iwas reading on the vortex about the mkII heated seats option. there was mention of the canadian models having them, claiming around 85-92. the members that was discussing it didnt have tha feature. they didnt really go into detaill with the techno babble, so ihave 2 unresolved questions. which mkII models came with the heated seats? ihave a 87 wolfsburg jetta coupe, could i install the switch and use a later version of the heated seats, from maybe a jetta or gti?

For the cost of buying, wiring and getting the heated seats you would be able to buy some racing seats...

Go for the racing seats. All the hot chicks you'll be picking up in your ride should keep you warm enough

They were available as options in most jettas and golfs. I've seen quite a few cars with them in, but not very many with them still working! I don't think they were available in the GTI's recaros though. Not that i've seen anyway.
