Is that the hose that goes from the airbox to the little pump in front of the engine? How thick is the hose? Is it ribbed?

Sometimes if the inside of the tube has a residue of oil on it where it meets the throttle body it won't stay.No matter how tight the clamp is. Either take it off and clean it well or replace the intake tube. Make sure you clean the throttle body side also. Or you will have the same problem you were trying to get rid of..

Hope this helps.
